WE MAKE THE WINE
THAT COMES FROM THE STONES

Bodegas Hacienda Molleda is located in the municipality of Tosos, 9 km from Cariñena and 51 km from Zaragoza. It belongs to the Protected Designation of Origin (D.O.P.) of Cariñena, in the Northeast of Spain, one of the oldest and pioneering D.O. in Spain.

El Vino que Nace de las Piedras is cultivated in a wild environment, in a territory dedicated to viticulture since ancient times. In the 16 municipalities that make up the largest and oldest Designation of Origin in Aragon, the terrain and altitudes intermingle, giving the landscape a great variety of scents and colours. However, there is no lack of stones in any of the scenery and they force the vines to survive in almost extreme conditions. The result is grapes that are more concentrated and intense, and much more aromatic than those grown elsewhere.

PREMIUM COLLECTION THE WINES OF THE STONES

Each year a PREMIUM representation of 12 Cariñena wines is selected.

The wines selected in this Collection represent every person and every centimetre of land in an area that is laying the foundations for the future without losing sight of its roots. Each of the selected wineries interprets the main grape varieties planted and enhances the autochthonous, based on knowledge and experience.

In this Collection we find whites with very different profiles, but with the common characteristic of knowing how to interpret the grape varieties and a warm climate with long summers.

The selection of red wines is undoubtedly the most representative of the region, where you can find single varietal wines made from Garnacha and Cariñena, two varieties adapted to the region and interpreted in different ways depending on the objectives of each winery and style of wine. The red collection is completed with two blends, one that mixes vintages and the other that uses foreign varieties adapted to the region, providing diversity and tradition.
